For
residents of the United Kingdom and residents in European Community
member states, purchases made from UV Gear are protected by the terms
of the 1979 Sale of Goods act and all subsequent amendments.
In
the interests of fair trade to our global customer base, the following
information should be noted.
We
set out to clearly describe and represent our products online. If
you are unsure about committing to order, simply email us first with
any questions.
If
you have taken delivery of products from us and you are not completely
satisfied with your order, please follow the following protocol to
process a return.
Other
than Goods returned under Guarantee in accordance with clause 7 of
our terms and conditions or for shortages or damages reasons, returns
will require Our Agreement.
Please
contact the UV Gear office using email within 48 hours or receipt
of goods to notify us of the following:
· Name
· Date of Order
· Date of Delivery
· Order Number
· Reason for Return
If
your request is deemed reasonable and in line with the governing Act,
we will then issue you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) which
must be written on the delivery note and returned with the goods.
In
any event, returns will only be accepted in the original packaging
and a 20% handling charge will apply with a minimum charge of £2.00.
Goods must be returned within 7 days of the date of delivery.
If
there are shortages or damages to the Goods occurring in transit,
you must notify Us within 3 working days of the date of delivery,
giving full details of any such shortages or damages and You must
return the Goods to Us together with all packaging. Within that time
all parcels delivered to You in a damaged condition should be returned
to Us forthwith.
In
all cases where the Goods are returned You must quote the order number
and delivery date.
Where
We accept that there has been a shortage in Goods dispatched or the
Goods have been damaged in transit, We shall replace such Goods at
the previously invoiced price.
